TeamViewer, is a widely used computer remote-access application that lets you connect across devices and control them. How To Remotely Connect To A PC Using TeamViewer
- Launch Teamviewer. Ask your partner to do the same. Get your partner’s TeamViewer id which he/she can refer from the left side of the application’s window. Enter it inside the box entitled ‘Partner ID’. Click on the ‘Connect to partner’ button.
- After doing so, you will get a prompt to enter the password that is displayed on your partner’s computer. Do the necessary action and hit ‘log on’.
Alternatively, you can choose to login via Windows authentication, which requires your partner’s Windows user credentials. To maintain authority, you may hit the advanced options in the password prompt window itself, and select the desired control authority you want to allocate.
- After logging in, you shall be able to see your partner’s screen and control the keyboard/mouse as well. You may now do any operation on the computer.
Now that you have connected to the partner computer, you shall see a menu bar on the top of the window. We will now show you how to use the features.

You can perform a variety of one button actions on the remote system. These one button actions are none other than shortcuts to directly access certain Windows features, such as…
You can choose to end the Teamviewer session with ‘Session Options’. In addition, you may choose to leave a note as well. With Windows options, you get the privilege to lock, reboot or perform the end task action (Ctrl+Alt+Del) on the remote PC.

What is ‘View’?
With the ‘View’ options you can modify the scaling, resolution and quality of your video stream. You can either opt for a better quality stream with the possibility of delays in your stream, or choose to go with poor quality stream with no such possibilities. We recommend to setting the quality to ‘Auto Select’, which would decide the quality as per the circumstance. Especially relevant, you can use the custom settings to adjust the color and quality rather more dynamically.
